The Wove Investor redesign began as a mission to unify fragmented account experiences for investors and advisors. The 2024 version delivered a clear, modern interface that prioritized usability and trust but stopped short of the flexible layouts and dynamic insights envisioned in early concepts. As AI and data infrastructure matured, the opportunity emerged to revisit that roadmap — not as a redesign, but as an evolution. The 2025 vision builds on the same foundation of clarity while introducing adaptive layouts, context-aware insights, and personalized guidance powered by AI.
We focused on transforming the platform from a single-view dashboard into an adaptive ecosystem. This shift reflects the changing expectations of both investors and advisors — from information access to intelligent collaboration.
Approach
Mapping investor journeys across roles and behaviors
We adopted a user-centered approach grounded in research and design iteration. The 2024 redesign focused on simplifying complex financial data for investors and advisors through clear hierarchies and unified navigation. While flexibility was always the goal, constraints in technology and infrastructure meant the dashboard emphasized consistency and clarity first. A year later, I revisited the design through the lens of emerging AI and adaptive systems. The new approach pairs layout flexibility with intelligent insights—turning static data into contextual guidance. This evolution keeps the original promise of clarity but introduces a more responsive, personalized layer powered by modern AI frameworks.
The original flow maps and user journeys still anchor this iteration. They now serve as inputs for a smarter system—one capable of learning from investor behavior and surfacing relevant insights automatically, closing the gap between usability and intelligence.
Process
The project began with a discovery phase to understand advisor workflows, compliance requirements, and client expectations. Insights from stakeholder interviews and legal reviews informed the design of an experience that balanced security, simplicity, and transparency.
